Grant Support from European Commission for 2 Projects of Kadir Has University in H2020-MSCA-RISE Call

Two projects of Kadir Has University, which is the Coordinator, has been entitled to a funding of 1.9 million Euro in total in the 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (MSCA-RISE) Call under the theme of Excellent Science within the program Horizon 2020. One of the two funded projects, named AI4LABOUR (“Reshaping Labour Force Participation with Artificial Intelligence”), includes our faculty member Prof. Dr. Meltem Ucal from the Department of Economics as the Executive, while our other faculty member in the project team, Dr. Asst. Prof. E. Fatih Yetkin from the Department of Management Information Systems is included as an investigator in the project. In the 48 months-long project, including Arçelik as a partner and having the acronym AI4LABOUR, it’s aimed to reshape the workforce participation through use of artificial intelligence. Project has a total of 8 partners from 4 different countries.
