KHAS Economics Webinars – Joseph Doyle (MIT)
We are delighted to host Joseph Doyle at KHAS Economics Webinars this week. Joseph Doyle is the Erwin H. Schell Professor of Management and Applied Economics at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Doyle is codirector of the MIT Sloan Initiative for Health Systems Innovation and cochair of the Health Sector of the Jameel Poverty Action Lab. He studies public economics in the areas of healthcare and child welfare. His research focuses on the effects of foster care and other interventions on child outcomes, the returns on healthcare spending, and the role of health insurance on the quality of treatment provided to patients and health outcomes. He also conducts randomized controlled trials of changes in the ways healthcare is delivered with an emphasis on addressing social determinants of health.
