Brain Drain, Remittances and Economic Development: A Myth or Reality
There is little data available on overseas immigration from Turkey. The objective of the project is to fill this void and instead track immigration by using data on remittances from the host back to the source country. The research then tries to connect these flows with the economic development of the source country and critically assesses the hypothesis that immigration leads to a brain drain from the home country.

Do acquisitions improve the long run performance of Turkish firms? Do acquisitions improve economic efficiency?
